1. gold is very dense , alot of protons and neutrons in the middle of every atom , almost all of an incoming beam is blocked (98% or more ) , also gold is inert , nonreactive by nature , thus it's tough , even pounded thin .also it's very flexible , …it's the gold standard , and it's pretty to also .

  2. I have one technical question, I know tech insider won't reply. Here is my question, first he is coating with gold and he starts to shoot electron, are the electrons bouncing back to the microscope then calculate the distance of the electron ?
