  1. It's really too bad that humans can't do their science without using animals as tools. As if we needed to test on captive, bred (raped) animals to know that cannabis is good for us! Some day we will grow beyond this kind of madness, and take Cannabis (and herbalism in general) as well as medicinal mushrooms 'for granted' because it will be the obvious norm, and not the suspicious margins…

  2. Incredible lecture. Thank you!.. I survived an ejection from a car and have TBI.. I dont think anyone believes me when I say I cannot recall alot of memories from a large part of my life from before my accident.. Through the years it's getting worse.. Is there a study on helping improvement of memory?.. As I get older Alzheimer's had become a huge concern for me and my TBI.

  3. Has this article suggesting neurotoxicity in cortical neurons been debunked, or does CBD offset some of these potential toxic effects of Ca? Or, is this augmented genetically via down regulation of glutamate receptors? https://www.ncbi.nlm.nih.gov/pmc/articles/PMC1574055/#!po=63.7500
Is a hormetic response being observed? Is this anti inflammatory effect related to studies suggesting that cannabis suppresses the immune system?
I am an advocate, but the science, albeit promising, is still a bit ambiguous.

  4. At 10:3011:00, . you say cognition gets worse for young group yet the curve clearly goes down much steeper than for old group. can you explain that please?) I want to understand.
Even if you compare directly to vehicle, (btw, never heard the term 'vehical' the way you are using it, can you define it please?) the data don't seem to correlate with your statement that [pot helps cognition in old people but hurts cognition in young people]. 'twould be nice to demonstrate that, but i need help understanding your data– so I can be convinced. any help you can offer would be greatly appreciated.
I really hope your hypothesis is further supported by repeating your testing on TCH, CBD, and combinations therein. (on humans). but for now the rat data is highly relevant to humans given the similarities of their mammalian brain structure and function.( that was both a joke, and a scientific fact that mammal brains all have certain similarities.)
Oh, and ALSO i understand one can engineer their sleep quality to insure adequate nightly removeal of beta-amyloid plaque. that's how I interpreted dr. rhonda patrick's youtube video on sleep with dan P. I envision McReefer's cannabis drug campaigne: combine "a puff with coffee in the morning" with "a puff of indica at night." — Maybe witn legalization looming, you'd get your funding from an industrial mcreefer cannabis manufacturer.

  5. The man speaks the truth, the literature confirms his claims. Please note that on Pubmed many of the names of the researchers are foreign, I take that as a sign that big pharma doesn't own everyone and everything. https://www.ncbi.nlm.nih.gov/pubmed/28588483

    Abstract
Beneficial effects of cannabidiol (CBD) have been described for a wide range of psychiatric disorders, including anxiety, psychosis, and depression. The mechanisms responsible for these effects, however, are still poorly understood. Similar to clinical antidepressant or atypical antipsychotic drugs, recent findings clearly indicate that CBD, either acutely or repeatedly administered, induces plastic changes. For example, CBD attenuates the decrease in hippocampal neurogenesis and dendrite spines density induced by chronic stress and prevents microglia activation and the decrease in the number of parvalbumin-positive GABA neurons in a pharmacological model of schizophrenia.
More recently, it was found that CBD modulates cell fate regulatory pathways such as autophagy and others critical pathways for neuronal survival in neurodegenerative experimental models, suggesting the potential benefit of CBD treatment for psychiatric/cognitive symptoms associated with neurodegeneration. These changes and their possible association with CBD beneficial effects in psychiatric disorders are reviewed here.

This CBD formula utilizes the full spectrum Cannabis plant mixed with Hemp Seed oil. Not all hemp is created equal. Our CBD Oil is made from NON-GMO, PESTICIDE FREE, CO2 Extracted Hemp Oil. In our experience, a full spectrum plant gives the Endocannabinoid system (ECS) the full cannabinoid profile of CBD, CBG, CBC, CBN, in order to substantiate the health claims.

We have over 120 cannabinoids in our CBD formulas which perfectly inhibits the CB2 receptors in the body. Other competitors claim to have a 99% purity which is usually in the form of “Isolate” or an “Extract”. Although the purity level is higher, the body is only receiving CBD, not the full cannabinoid profile. CBD Isolate is cheaper to manufacture, and when the CBD is isolated, those products lose its effectiveness.

Take a few minutes to learn more about our full spectrum CBD. YOu will be glad you did.

  7. Well I would argue that simply increasing the cbd levels blows up his whiney talk about thc causing cognitive dysfunction so we have to reduce it to damn near 'nil. What if it's too late and we don't have time for that tip toe bull shit? Oh granny can't, dude, slow down, how do you expect her to function? Wtf? That's easy. She doesn't. What do you want her to do? Oh no, it scares her, so you shouldn't? Okay, don't bathe her then. See what I'm getting at? Just a very tiny critique point, which has huge ramifications, but otherwise, this guy is great. His life is just an amazing benefit to many people. That being said, grow the fuck up haha
