The Rejected Super Bowl Cannabis Commercial

The Rejected Super Bowl Cannabis Commercial. CBS rejected a medical marijuana ad, not allowing it to air during Super Bowl 53 (LIII). Considering every …

  1. Because alcohol sales, because sex sells. But the truth about saving any life’s makes the pharmaceutical corporations go crazy! The greed gets even more greedy. When cars can get drive with water instead oil and free energy. It’s a circle of greedy stomping their foot on the masses.

  2. UNBELIEVABLE! THIS IS EXACTLY WHAT THE WORLD NEEDED TO HEAR—and they banned it! YET THEY AIR ALCOHOL COMMERCIALS THE WHOLE TIME. Alcohol can mess up your life, make you addicted and kill you. CANNABIS NEVER DOES ANY OF THAT. This is just about the last straw for me. This kind of travesty can’t be allowed to fester anymore. BE LOUD AND PROUD, SCREW OUR GOVERNMENT. How can they drink Whiskey but think a little bit of weed is like Heroin? Whoever chose to ban this, I will pray to God that they die or get beaten severely. Dumb mfs.

  3. Business is business, as simple as that. The Super Bowl has always been an opportunity for the alcohol industry to give massive amounts of money to air their big budget ads. I can still remember those Clydesdale adds that Budweiser used to air during the 80's. Alcohol is a large market that is feeling threatened by cannabis decriminalization. I can imagine the CEO of the NFL got a phone call from the CEO of Budweiser yammering on about American traditions and oh by the way, we'll never pay to advertise our shitty beer if you go cannabis on us. (The real and original Budweiser is a Czech beer that tastes amazing by comparison.)

  4. Research the connection between Harry J Anslinger and William R Hearst’s “ yellow journalism “ and you will find out a lot about cannabis prohibition and the racial lies that brought it about. Why did Harry J Anslinger change the term cannabis to marijuana and who helped him get that message out to all of America? No more of a gateway drug than alcohol or coffee who both have varied strengths just like cannabis.

  5. Medical marijuana is 1 thing, but when these same people, or people who simply bought marijuana to get high, get behind a wheel of a car and kill someone because they were too fucking high to know how to stop their car, it’s a big problem. People that think smoking pot don’t make you high or impaired are just ignorant. Maybe medical marijuana is different with THC taken out of it, but some most smoke pot and get high that buy it. Just saying there needs to be a bill past in USA keeping people high on weed from driving at all. They already have those breath testing thing for drunks to breathe into before the car will start, need same with pot. More and more people are killing people being the wheel because they are fucking high. Would you want to put your own kid on a school bus if the driver was high on weed? Exactly..

  6. Safe-ish treatment lol what's not safe about it all these people that are ignorant about cannabis let me ask you this do you drink beer/Sprite at least I can still function on cannabis and I've yet to see documented anger because of weed lol ain't never heard of weed overdose lol. Canada rocks legal across the country.

  7. Is there anyway that cannabis can smell sweeter or better.
I ask because I don't do it and UNDERSTAND it helps those in need but for those who just smoke it to get HIGH please understand there are those of us who can't stand the smell or worse because a neighbor smokes pot all the time it flows through the vents and gets into my clothes.
Note if you have a job that requires drug testing YOU ARE KILLING US.
First it flows through the vents an I gotta breath in that crap, second it gets into our clothes.
It would be so super cool if cannabis didn't smell like a dirty butt hole

  8. Cam Newton, when not injured and not behind a sh$tty line and not playing with receivers that only physiologically have hands, is plenty accurate, thank you. He's not Peyton Manning, but then only one guy actually is.

  9. “Marijuana, in its natural form, is one of the safest therapeutically active substances known to man."
    ― Francis Young – DEA Judge – 1988

"The illegality of cannabis is outrageous, an impediment to full utilization of a drug which helps produce the serenity and insight, sensitivity and fellowship so desperately needed in this increasingly mad and dangerous world."
    – Dr. Carl Sagan (American Cosmologist, Astrobiologist, author & science communicator)

Marijuana is less dangerous than alcohol & less addictive than caffeine.

"Penalties against possession of a drug should not be more damaging to an individual than the use of the drug itself; and where they are, they should be changed. Nowhere is this more clear than in the laws against possession of marijuana in private for personal use…”
    – Jimmy Carter (U.S.President)

“Congress should definitely consider decriminalizing possession of marijuana…We should concentrate on prosecuting the rapists and burglars who are a menace to society.”
-Dan Quayle (U.S. Representative & Vice President)

"Even if one takes every reefer madness allegation of the prohibitionists at face value, marijuana prohibition has done far more harm to far more people than marijuana ever could."
“The anti-marijuana campaign is a cancerous tissue of lies, undermining law enforcement, aggravating the drug problem, depriving the sick of needed help and suckering well intentioned conservatives and countless frightened parents.”
    – William F. Buckley Jr. (American conservative author and commentator)

“You bet I did -— and I enjoyed it.” ….when asked if he had ever smoked marijuana.
    – Michael Bloomberg (New York City Mayor)

"Studies have consistently failed to establish the existence of a link between the harshness of a country’s drug laws and its levels of drug use."
    -Kofi Annan (U.N. Secretary General)

"Pot is a better drug than alcohol. I'll prove it to you. You're at a ball game or a concert, and someone's really violent and aggressive and obnoxious, are they drunk or are they smoking pot?"
“Why is pot against the law? It wouldn't be because anyone can grow it, and therefore you can't make a profit off it, would it?” “…It grows naturally upon our planet. Doesn’t the idea of making nature against the law seem to you a bit…unnatural?”
-Bill Hicks (Satirist, Social Critic, Stand-Up Comedian)

"If the words "life, liberty and the pursuit of happiness" don't include the right to experiment with your own consciousness, then the Declaration of Independence isn't worth the hemp it was written on."
Terence McKenna (American ethnobotanist, author, advocate for responsible use of natural psychedelic plants)
